Does it surprise you that you will find so many individuals who make animation the center of their lives? Just as cigarettes and alcohol can be addicting, anime may be addicting too. Individuals who are addicted to anime, however, are termed as otaku, or animation addicts to be exact. There are men and women that do nothing all day but watch & think about watching new anime, theorize & collects anime products, squeal about anime, and dream about it also Well, that's not really the truth and they still do a great deal of stuff which are not related to anime, but I think you get the point. They may be totally and undeniably addicted to anime and who will blame them? Anime will be about one of the most addicting things on earth. But what can make it so addicting?

As a self-confessed animation addict, I will have to claim that there are actually several factors why anime is so addicting for a lot of men and women.

The first, and in all likelihood the most compelling reason of all, will be the sheer beauty by which the makers create their characters. Out of all cartoons on earth, it really is only in Japanese anime that I have seen such well rounded and realistic characters that will be so distinctly human. Anime doesn't delude the viewers into believing that someone can be perfect. The heroes and heroines in anime, beautiful since they might be, have their very own flaws and insecurities. They are not like the princesses within the cartoon fairy tales who are epitomes of grace and goodness, and also are thereby incredibly flat and drab. Anime heroes and heroines are human, and their humanity makes them all the greater interesting.

Also, since they each have their very own personalities, we're sure to seek out at least one character in each and every show with whom we can relate with and empathize with. Which is just one of the biggest reasons why we get hooked in anime versus American cartoons because we are always trying to find out what is going to happen with our favorite characters.

The plots in anime will be just as much reason to get addicted as the characters themselves. Anime Series are more often than not gifted with great plots. The plots are seldom ever watered down to suit the audience, thus never undermining the intelligence of the viewers as some of the other cartoon series do. They anime makers can dish out the most elaborate plots and never worry whether anyone will understand whether they will be understood or not - of course, anime is just not simply a franchise, it's really a form of art, and if people do not understand it today. Then maybe the people of tomorrow will.

Anime plots often be suffused with a sufficient quantity of suspense, drama, intrigue, politics, and enough twists and turns to leave your jaw hanging. And in addition to that, they're usually deep and always have a lesson attached to them.

Okay, let's not deny it. Included in the reason why we watch anime is simply because it simply looks amazing. Although they can be in 2D format, sometimes they are drawn even better then the ones that are created in 3D. Those overly large eyes, those gravity defying hairstyles, those weirder than weird clothes; they are simply perfect and sufficient to make anyone keep coming back for more. The artistic amazement is simply none stop however you look-at it.
