West Ham goalkeeper Nathan Trott is poised to join Nancy on a season-long loan.

Highly-rated England youth international Trott is set for a move to France to continue his development with former Barnsley manager Daniel Stendel's side.

Trott, 22, viewed as one of the most promising emerging English stoppers, impressed while on loan at AFC Wimbledon during the 2019-20 season.

Trott joined West Ham in January 2016 has progressed through their youth setup to the first team, making his debut in the Hammers' 4-0 FA Cup win against Doncaster in January, and has also appeared on the bench a number of times.
