CANBERRA, Dec 9 (Reuters) - U.S. wheat futures edged lower on Thursday for a second consecutive session as forecasts for mild temperatures and some rain in key U.S.
growing regions fuelled the prospect of ample global supplies.
FUNDAMENTALS
* The most-active wheat futures were down 0.2% at $7.93-1/2 a bushel on the Chicago Board Of Trade, as of 0201 GMT, after closing 1.7% lower on Wednesday.
* The most-active soybean futures were flat at $12.61-1/2 a bushel, having closed 0.9% higher in the previous session.
* The most-active corn futures were up 0.1% at $5.87-3/4 a bushel, after closing 0.2% firmer in the previous session.
* U.S.
weather models call for mild temperatures, aiding wheat crops ahead of their dormancy period.
