A panel of eight health and social care professionals, six of whom were involved in Ben's care, said he was eligible for NHS Continuing Healthcare funding (CHC), which is paid to anyone with severe, complex or unpredictable health needs.

The decision is awaiting approval from the Indian Prime Minister's office and is set to be announced within one to two weeks. The South Asian nation will restrict bidders from any country it shares a land border with, under amended investment rules that cite concerns over national security, according to the report.

Huawei shipped more phones worldwide than any other vendor for the first time in 2020's second quarter, tech market analysts Canalys, Counterpoint and IDC reported. It's the anyone other than Samsung or Apple has been market leader, Canalys said.

If approved, India will join a growing list of countries including the US, UK and Australia that have banned Huawei from providing 5G technology for their respective wireless networks over security concerns. NATO should consider including China in NATO's official master strategy document, its "Strategic Concept", diplomats cited the report as saying, though it will stop short of declaring the country an adversary.

Add that to the fact that if your active work and social lifestyle has changed at all, like mine has, you won't truly take advantage of all the features this phone has to offer.  Will the Note 20 Ultra still be the phone you want to use post-pandemic, or will a better upgrade come along by then? Do these features justify the Note 20 Ultra's price? It begins at $1,300 (£1,179, AU$1,894) for the 128GB version (you can also buy it in 512GB). The retail price is a steep ask, especially when you combine a climate of deep global recession and mounting unemployment.

"If it wasn't for COVID-19, it wouldn't have happened. Huawei has taken full advantage of the Chinese economic recovery to reignite its smartphone business," Ben Stanton, a Canalys senior analyst, said in a press release. "Samsung has a very small presence in China, with less than 1% market share, and has seen its core markets, such as Brazil, India, the United States and Europe, ravaged by outbreaks and subsequent lockdowns."

The pair calls their census preliminary and believe more undocumented copies exist in public and private collections. In 2016, a first edition sold for $3.7 million, a record for a science book. They estimate that more than 600 copies of the book's first edition, and as many as 750, were printed in 1687.

BRUSSELS/BERLIN, Nov 30 (Reuters) - NATO must think harder about how to handle China and its military rise, though Russia will remain its main adversary during this decade, according to a report to be published on Tuesday on reforming the Atlantic alliance.

The fallout has included a ban on video-sharing app TikTok -- which has a Chinese parent company-- along with at least 58 other apps that originate from China.  The news of a potential ban comes as anti-China sentiment in India remains high following a deadly clash in June at a disputed border high up in the Himalayas that left at least 20 Indian soldiers dead.

Part of NATO's response should be maintaining a technological advantage over China, protecting computer networks and infrastructure, the diplomat said, citing the report, although not all recommendations will be adopted.

The new Caltech survey counts 386 copies, including 91 auctioned volumes and versions found in libraries and private collections. The last census of Newton's Principia, published in 1953, identified 189 copies. The study details each copy of Principia tracked so far -- its place of origin and provenance, how it was bound, and notes filling the margins that might shed light on when and how widely Newtonian ideas really started to take hold.

The report "NATO 2030", prepared by a group of so-called 'wise persons' and containing 138 proposals, comes amid growing doubts about the purpose and relevance of an alliance branded last year by French President Emmanuel Macron as "brain dead".

But a Caltech history professor and one of his former students have uncovered copies of the first edition in 27 countries, doubling the number counted in the most recent census 70 years ago. Annotations filling those found volumes suggest the heady text's early run reached a far broader and more varied readership than previously thought -- in England and beyond.
