EXCLUSIVE: Martha Stewart Announces Expansion Of Martha.com

Martha Stewart doled out some surprising lifestyle advice for the at-home host during an exclusive chat with DailyMail.com, as she insisted 'you don't need to wait for a special occasion to use the good stuff'.

'Use your crystal!' Martha said. The business mogul, who boasts a jaw-dropping array of crystal wine glasses, decanters and pitchers says they shouldn't just be used for display or tucked away. 

Baccarat, the famed French crystal company, recently jumped at the chance to join up with Stewart on a collaboration after learning that she'd inherited a 'vast collection' of Baccarat items at her home in Maine.

'Baccarat never really put a person's name on a glass before,' Martha gushed about the Martha Collection by Baccarat. 

The new collection includes the Martharita Goblets (set of 2: $450) and the Martharita Pitcher ($1,100) and will be available to purchase until October 14. Next year, the collaboration will add new items like martini glasses and tumblers.

'Use your crystal!' insisted the business mogul who has partnered with Baccarat on a collaboration of crystal drinkware which is available for pre-sale on her newly expanded retail website Martha.com

'I say they're the ultimate wedding gift or shower gift,' Martha said. 'They're a little on the pricy side but they are the foundation of a nice crystal collection.' 

Those crystal pieces are available for pre-sale on Martha's new expanded retail platform, Martha.com, which just got a makeover. 

The expanded site will include all types of 'curated and original content' that Martha says fans constantly ask for.

'I say they're the ultimate wedding gift or shower gift,' Martha said. 'They're a little on the pricy side but they are the foundation of a nice crystal collection.'

'This is a new venture to kind of emulate what we did a long time ago with Martha by Mail, our beautiful catalog,' Martha explained.

Martha.com will feature, for the first time in one place, all of Stewart's own products, collaborations and partners - Amazon, California Closets, Canopy CBD, Easy Spirit, Macy's, Martha Stewart Kitchen, Martha Stewart & Marley Spoon, Martha Stewart Wine Co., Pretty Litter QVC, Sur La Table and Wayfair.

Other items already available for pre-sale include Martha's 99th cookbook, Martha Stewart's Fruit Desserts and Martha's go-to kitchen item, an enamel cast iron Dutch oven.

Much like she did with publishing, Martha is hoping to re-invent and improve the e-commerce space by creating her first direct-to-consumer shop for her own designs, collaborations and favorite things. 

'It's an opportunity to see a lot more of my products in one place and to get nice content along with the products,' she said.

The site will be built out each week and month with new products, shops, experiences alongside tons of information like how-to content, recipes, guides and classes.

Stewart promises that the expansion of Martha.com will be 'really practical' and allow for shoppers to curate with ease their own homes and holidays just like she would.

'There will be new product added all the time,' she said. 'It will become more and more and more robust as time goes on.'

Plus, everything will have the Martha Stewart stamp of approval, meaning they are 'affordable, practical, useful and long lasting.' 

'We're designers,' she explained. 'We're like anyone else involved in home décor and home fashion. We spend a lot of time working on the products. We're not just slapping on our name. We're designing it from scratch.'

The wine store is one of Martha's favorite categories for people to peruse on the site as she's taken all the guess-work out of choosing the right bottle. 'We care about the quality a lot,' she quipped.

'Affordable wines, very good price, delivered right to your door,' Martha said, adding that there are also tips on how to serve them and what recipes to pair with them.

'Martha.com is a limitless source of inspiration, all in one place and this is just the beginning. Much more is on the way - new tools, new applications, new products, and new experiences. We are planning to launch new innovations every month for the foreseeable future,' she said in a press release.

In addition to her own lines, some of the items Stewart uses at her many luxurious homes will be featured in partner content - and they're all carefully picked by Martha herself. The caviar for sale on the website, for instance, is the very same brand that you would find in Martha's own home.

Those products and brands will be dubbed Good Things on the site, which is already up and running, and are chosen based on the 'three tenets of the Martha Stewart brand: function and innovation, quality at a value, 우리카지노 and beauty.'
