Disney Plus has a deep library of shows and movies, buzzy originals and (sometimes) big-screen movies to watch the same time they first hit theaters. Jungle Cruise is the latest same-day film release on Disney Plus and in cinemas, joining Marvel's Black Widow on the streaming service. But unlike LokiThe MandalorianWandaVision and basically everything else on Disney Plus, not all subscribers can stream Jungle Cruise and Black Widow. And there's no telling if these same-day streaming releases will happen again.

Both Jungle Cruise and Black Widow are available only for subscribers who pay an extra fee. They're available through the Premier Access model, which requires a $30 payment on top of the regular price of a $60 million to watch it online. That works out to roughly 2 million accounts opting to stream it instead of going to a theater. Jungle Cruise brought in $30 million through Disney Plus on its opening weekend later the same month.
