The 27-year-old personal trainer/aspiring actor took to Instagram to share that he had tried out for a 'dope role' on the HBO Max show, but ultimately didn't make the cut.
Proving to be a good sport despite the missed gig, Asghari continued to congratulate the actor that snagged the role.

Sam had auditioned for the role of a hunky physical therapist named Travis, who helps Sarah Jessica Parker's Carrie rehabilitate after her hip surgery.
In October it was announced that Asghari had snagged his first major film role — being cast in the Mel Gibson thriller Hot Seat.
