Carrie Bickmore has revealed she suffered a major wardrobe mishap at the AACTA awards on Wednesday.

While being interviewed on the red carpet at the event, The Project host revealed she was almost forced to wear jeans after finding the back of her dress had been torn.

'I ripped my dress before, about half an hour before we came and the dress went to the tailor and the only other thing I had to wear was jeans and a shirt,' she said.
