Dining out at restaurants, going back to school, having friends over and enjoying a hit of golf back will be back on the cards this week.

But with states and territories implementing the Federal Government's three-stage plan at their own pace,  confusion mounts over what activities and services are allowed.

Daily Mail Australia takes a look at what you can do and can't do in your home state this week and beyond.

VICTORIA

From 11.59PM on Tuesday, households are allowed to have five guests over.

The change is not an open invitation to host dinner parties every night, Premier Daniel Andrews warned.

'This is not about having a different group of mates round every night to get on the beers,' Mr Andrews wrote online to Victorians.

Picnics will be allowed again, with gatherings of 10 people outdoors permitted as long as social distancing is observed.

Golf, walking groups, fishing and hiking are among the outdoor activities allowed again.

Hiking, fishing, hunting, diving and other recreational activities will be allowed in state parks in gatherings of 10 or less.

Professional sport teams will be able to get back to training from just before midnight on Tuesday.

Outdoor boot camps of up to 10 people can resume.

Up to 10 guests can attend a wedding, while indoor funerals can host up to 20 people plus those needed to run the service.

Victorians are still advised to work from home if they can.

Hairdressers can also open as long as they meet social distancing requirements.

Auctions and open houses can have 10 guests in addition to real estate agents and auctioneers.

Cafes and restaurants remain takeaway only.

NEW SOUTH WALES

School children in NSW will resume normal face-to-face classes one day a week from Monday.

The number of days kids can attend school will gradually ramp up over the next few weeks.

Premier Gladys Berejiklian on Sunday confirmed several other restrictions will be eased from Friday, May 15.

In NSW from this Friday, cafes and restaurants will be allowed to have up to 10 customers in their stores at any one time, while still abiding by the four square metre per person rule

For the first time since restrictions came into effect in March, 10 guests will be allowed at weddings in NSW

Cafes and restaurants will be allowed to have up to 10 customers in their stores at any one time, while still abiding by the four square metre per person rule.

Some Sydney restaurant and cafe owners have voiced concerns that the 10-person limit isn't viable and said their businesses will remain closed until restrictions are eased further.

Five people will also be able to visit another household from Friday, up from the maximum two guests that was brought in earlier this month.

Outdoor gatherings of up to 10 people will be allowed from Friday.

For the first time since restrictions came into effect in March, 10 guests will be allowed at weddings.

Indoor funerals can have up to 20 people, and 30 are allowed at outdoor funerals.

Religious gatherings and places of worship can also have up to 10 people.

Outdoor equipment including gyms and playgrounds can be used with caution, with people encouraged to sanitise equipment.

Swimming in outdoor pools will be allowed to be used.

QUEENSLAND

Families of up to five people are allowed to visit another household as of yesterday.

From Monday, some school students will resume face-to-face learning depending on what grade they're in.

Kindergarten, Prep, Years 1, 11 and 12 went back to school from Monday.

A decision about more kids returning to the classroom will be made by May 15.

In NSW, Victoria and Queensland households are allowed of up to five guests, while ACT residents can have 10

If the number of new COVID-19 cases remains low, schools across the state will return to normal from May 25.

From this Saturday, Queenslanders will be allowed to gather in groups of up to 10 people.

Bars and gaming will stay shut during the state's first phase of the Federal Government's COVID-19 roadmap.

Up to 10 people at a time can dine in at restaurants, pubs, licensed clubs, RSL clubs and hotels.

SOUTH AUSTRALIA

A number of restrictions in South Australia were lifted on Monday, such as regional travel.

Campgrounds and caravan parks have reopened to encourage South Australians to visit communities hit hard by the December/January bushfires.

Restaurants and cafes can also reopen to 10 patrons as long as they sit outside.

Up to 20 mourners are allowed to attend an indoor funeral, while 30 people are allowed if the service is held outside.

Auctions and open house inspections can also resume.

Schools are open for normal face-to-face learning, with students encouraged by the State Government to attend.

WESTERN AUSTRALIA

Locals will be encouraged to return to work and take regional holidays.

The limit on group gatherings will be doubled to 20 people and hospitality businesses allowed to serve diners under phase two of WA's recovery plan starting next Monday.

From May 18, libraries, gyms and indoor weddings will be allowed for up to 20 people.

Outdoor weddings will be allowed to have up to 30 guests.

But with just one new case of coronavirus recorded in the past 11 days, the government has faced backlash for not going further in unwinding restrictions.

Like restaurants and cafes, pubs will be allowed to reopen but a maximum of 20 patrons will apply as well as the one person per four square metres rule.

Customers will be required to buy a meal if they want to have a drink.
