A social experiment to raise awareness of child food poverty found many Americans are happy to give up food for a hungry child.

In a heartwarming non-scientific study, all adults who were approached by a child asking for some food at a Farmer's Market in Palm Beach offered to give youngsters something to eat or buy them a meal. 

The stunt, by the Palm Beach County foodbank, aimed to highlight the often hidden problem of children who are struggling without enough to eat, as well as food insecurity in the county.
