Juventus are set to offer Mohamed Salah a mega-money deal this summer to lure him away from Anfield, according to reports in Italy.  

The Egypt international's contract is set to expire in 2023 and, despite Liverpool's efforts to tie him down to a new deal, the club and player have to reach an agreement. 

Meanwhile, Juventus are set to lose Paulo Dybala on a free transfer in summer after talks with the Argentine broke down.

The Serie A side are now eyeing a move for Salah to fill the void and are preparing a huge financial package to bring him to Turin, according to .

Dybala was reportedly set to pocket £6.5m after tax plus £2m bonuses each year, taking his annual salary to £8.5m. 

But taxes paid by Juventus would have seen their payout doubled, meaning the forward would have cost the club £67million over the next four years. 

With Dybala's departure - and Cristiano Ronaldo's sudden exit last summer - Juventus have seen a large amount of funds freed up. 

The new gap on their wage bill could see them fund a move for Salah and the Old Lady are reportedly ready to offer the 29-year-old a four-year deal worth £10m per year net. 

However, Juventus will have to navigate the winger's complex contract situation at Liverpool. 

The Reds bought Salah from Roma in 2017 for £43m and the Egyptian has since gone on to establish himself as one of the best players in the world. 

Salah has won the Champions League, Premier League, Club World Cup and Carabao Cup during his time at Anfield. 

He has bagged the Golden Boot twice and amid his most prolific season - with a tally of 20 Premier League goals so far - he looks set to add a third to his collection. 

Juventus will face a challenge to agree a fee with the Merseyside outfit, who will only be likely to let him leave this summer for a hefty price tag.

Salah has been angling for a new deal at Liverpool since December 2020 — with his last extension coming in July 2018 — and has consistently said the outcome is in the club's hands.

He is believed to want £400,000 per week, which would make him comfortably the highest paid player in the Reds' history.

Manager Jurgen Klopp said that talks have been ongoing but recent reports suggested discussions have not taken place since December. 

‘I understand these questions but the club is in talks with all the agents and all the people. Until then it makes no sense,' the German said. 

‘The Mo question, nothing new happened, everything is fine. Mo is giving absolutely everything to the club. The club is in talks with all the agents and that is how it should be.'

He added: ‘Mo definitely expects this club to be ambitious, we were in the last few years and we are. From my point of view, it is exactly like it should be at this time.

‘Nothing happened further, no signing, no rejections. We just have to wait, it is completely fine.'

However, Salah's agent Ramy Abbas Issa appeared to laugh off the Reds boss's suggestions as he posted a tweet with seven crying-with-laughter emojis an hour after Klopp had spoken.
