Obviously you need the right keywords to start. So in a nutshell, I am going to cover the basics of what should happen. You may already know some of this, but believe it or not, 97% of internet travelers only do some of the things that they need to do to rank high organically. So the first step is picking the right keywords to promote your site. This is where most people fail by not doing enough research on keywords. They either pick too broad of terms for their site, or they pick keywords that nobody is searching for.

Build your webpage now using the SEO tips that I described above. Incorporate the right title using your keywords, meta tags, alt tags, header sizes and keyword density. Whew! Now that this is finally done, the real work begins! Off page optimization. This is the most important.

You get what you pay for! SEO services and pricing vary greatly as does the level of service you'll receive. Your site will actually be "docked" ranking by the Search Engines of black hat or improper SEO strategies are employed. You'll often find these practices done mostly by offshore companies that offer basement discount pricing. You're looking for Pinterest legitimate SEO strategies... there are no shortcuts!

Lastly, there are the true webmasters out there who take On-Page optimization well beyond where it needs to go. (in my humble & profitable opinion) If you don't believe me, go ahead and buy one of those 200 page e-books that expect you to have degree from M.I.T. and a full working knowledge of website coding. I would rather eat glass...I know this because I have read not one of these, but dozens before seeing the light.

Once it is "Optimized", then you need to let the search engines know that you exist. Only after it is ready should you tell them about it. But this is a subject for another article. Do a search of different article warehouse or SEO news sources. You will find a lot of information on this.

A lot of high ranking websites have outstanding articles posted around the internet as well as on their site. It's part of that wonderful promotion circle. Articles lead to more traffic. More traffic leads to better placement in search engines and so it goes.

Header tags. Header tags are the HTML code that indicates a headline, like H1, H2 and H3 and show up as bolded headlines in your page content. The first 3 header tags are the only ones you need to be concerned about, and the primary header tag, H1, is the most important. Use your primary keyword one time in the H1 tag, 2-3 times in your H2 tags, and multiple times in your H3 tags.

Avoid using your keyword too much. If you have an over optimized article, it wouldn't matter how many articles you wrote. You would never get search engine rankings for those articles. Instead, just sprinkle your words throughout your content in a natural way. It should flow with the content and be easy to read.
