Sir Elton John is set to make a pretty penny as he embarks on his last ever Australian tour this weekend. 

The 75-year-old, who will kick off his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour in Newcastle on Sunday night, is offering a 'VIP' experience package to keen fans for a whopping $1,749.

Billed as the 'ultimate Elton John experience', the VIP package gets buyers a deluxe seat, drinks and canapés and a photo opportunity with Elton's iconic Yamaha grand Piano Lessons Sydney - but not the singer himself.
