Cristiano Ronaldo has insisted that his first season at Juventus was the best of his career.

Ronaldo joined Juventus from Real Madrid last summer and proceeded to help his new side win the Serie A title and the Supercoppa Italiana before experiencing Nations League glory with Portugal.

Despite his advancing years, Ronaldo was still a major goautodial threat for Juventus and scored 28 goals in 43 games across all competitions, while he provided 10 assists. 

Ronaldo told : 'It wasn't easy for me to leave Real Madrid after such a long time and arrive in a different league like Serie A, with new team-mates, all at the age of 33.

'This is why I believe that I had my best season. I won the Scudetto and Italian Super Cup at Juve, then the Nations League with Portugal, so that's three trophies in just one year.'
