She left The Wiggles at the end of 2021 after 10 years as the iconic, bow-wearing Yellow Wiggle.

And on Thursday, Emma Watkins gave fans a look at one of her exciting new projects following her departure from the children's band.

The talented performer shared a photo to Instagram of herself standing in front of a camera.

'Awww been filming many new projects … so looking forward to sharing them with you soon #bts,' she captioned the image.

Emma made the surprise announcement of her departure in October, revealing that she was was quitting The Wiggles after 11 years in the band.

The break from touring with the group during the Covid pandemic last year made Emma reassess her priorities in life and focus on her education.

The talented performer shared a photo to Instagram of herself standing in front of a camera and wrote: 'Awww been filming many new projects … so looking forward to sharing them with you soon #bts'

She is now pursuing her PHD, which focuses on the affective, artistic integrations of sign language, dance and film editing.

In January, Emma apologised extensively for leaving the group, telling she feels terrible for her young fans.

'I'm really sorry. I never, ever, ever - ever - want to let down the children,' Emma said.
