Benfica starlet Joao Felix scored a superb goal in his side's 6-0 thrashing of Maritimo on Monday night which was a mirror image of Georginio Wijnaldum's goal for Liverpool against Cardiff the previous day.

The 19-year-old, who has been in outstanding form this season, opened the scoring with just three minutes gone.

Felix lashed the ball into the net as he displayed his excellent technique, in a very similar manner to how Wijnaldum scored for Premier League title chasers Liverpool.

Wijnaldum's fiercely-struck effort put Liverpool in front against Cardiff before a penalty from James Milner made it 2-0.  

With regards to Felix, It was an excellent all-round display from the youngster who went on to add another goal as well as providing an assist for Franco Cervi. 

Cervi got another, bpo solutions, while Pizzi and Eduardo Salvio also scored for Benfica, who are top of the table, above title rivals Porto on goal difference.
