Thomas Markle has launched his own YouTube channel and I think we all know at least two people who rather wish he hadn't bothered.
On his Remarkable Friendship series, Mr Markle has teamed up with photographer Karl Larsen in a bid to ‘tell my truth'.
‘Hi I'm Thomas, Meghan's dad,' he says with a firm grasp of his celebrity value.
He has things on his mind he wants to discuss.
Most of them are Meghan-related and when not about Meghan they are about her older sister Samantha, who is suing Meghan over what she claims were ‘false' narratives about the family's supposedly impoverished background during the Sussexes' bombshell Oprah interview.

Remarkable Friendship is a low-to-no budget production.
Filmed in Mr Markle's home in the beach community of Rosarito, Mexico - listen carefully and you can hear the Pacific - he often reads from a sheaf of handwritten notes.
He has the air of a rumpled old bear with a thorn in its paw; someone who deep down is puzzled and hurt.

In his stumbling way, he seems to be looking for the heart of a family life that has long gone.
He makes a good point about the Duke of Sussex advising him never to speak to media outlets, but failing to follow that advice himself.
It's a mystery why media-loathing Harry didn't do more to protect his father-in-law, instead of leaving him to cope.

Mr Markle says the experience ‘did a lot of damage to me for a while'.
Throughout the 14-minute broadcast he comes across as someone who is alone, ill-advised but trying to do his best.
Thomas Markle has made some mistakes, but even now it is hard to see what he did that was so unforgiveable his daughter has cut him out of her life so completely.
Whatever his problems, I doubt Remarkable Friendship is the answer.
