Brown was just 9 years old when she made her acting debut in ABC's Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, a spin-off of the beloved Once Upon a Time.

She also had guest-starring roles in shows such as NCIS, Modern Family and Grey's Anatomy before she was cast as Eleven in Stranger Things at just 12 years old.

After seven years and four seasons - with many delays due to COVID-19 - Brown revealed she's ready to wrap up the series and move on with the fifth and final season, which starts filming in June.

'I'm definitely ready to wrap up.

I feel like there's a lot of the story that's been told now, and we know of it, it's been in our lives for a very long time,' she said.

'But I'm very ready to say goodbye to this chapter of my life and open new ones up,' she added.

'I'm able to create stories myself that are important to me and focus on the bigger picture.

But I'm really grateful (for the show), she added.

Brown also recently partnered with Essentia Water with a new program that encourages young people to prioritize their well-being.

'This is just something that speaks to me, and I was really excited to be able to join and collaborate with Essentia on how to promote wellness, and for me personally, to show a younger audience how important taking care of yourself is and being true to who you are is,' she said.
