The main factors responsible for transformer aging are:
*Temperature
*Oxygen
*Moisture
*Extreme operational conditions
*Adverse conditions in the transformer's surroundings, for example, high
temperature and humidity index
*Faults and electrical surges
*Degraded Insulation



"We have a boom mainly in solar (panel installations) for small houses but not much else here in Switzerland," Christian Heierli, project leader at Axpo, told Reuters in an interview.

"The idea (is) to have installations on other places as well, like here on a hydropower dam."

Due to its close proximity to the sun, the surface temperature of 2021 PH27 'gets to almost 500 degrees C (around 900 degrees F) at closest approach, hot enough to melt lead,' Sheppard added.

Known as 2021 PH27, this 3,280 foot-wide asteroid was discovered on August 13 by Scott Sheppard of the Carnegie Institution of Science, using data from the Dark Energy Camera (DECam) in Chile.
