PRAGUE, Jan 16 (Reuters) - Slovakia's fractious opposition would beat the ruling coalition led by the centre-left Smer party if an election was held now, an opinion poll showed on Thursday.
The Jan. 10-14 survey of 1,010 voters by Focus agency showed six liberal and conservative parties could form a wide coalition that would win 84 seats in the 150-seat parliament. The EU country will hold an election on Feb. 29. The poll also showed rising support for the extreme-right People's Party-Our Slovakia, which cemented its position as the country's second most popular party.
